What's New ...
There are so many new riders out there with so many questions. I have only been riding now for 6 months and I am going to share some of experiences with you and a few tips I have learned and maybe this will be helpful.

Women say to me all the time I want to ride but my legs are to short/long or my arms are to short/long. You can have just about any bike customized to fit your size. Have the bike lowered, change the seat, change out the foot controls, different handle bars or get them adjusted.

There are a lot of women I see having a hard time getting the bike upright from the kickstand position. Turn the front tire straight it will shift the bike's weight and make it much easier to lift.

Dropping your motorcycle - I have already done this and just about everyone I know has done this. Learn how to pick it up. Make sure your bike is off and in first gear. Start from the side opposite from the kick stand if possible, put the kick stand out to stop the bike when you get it in the up right position. Bend at the knees with your back towards the bike and find a sturdy place to put your hands (like under your seat). Begin to SLOWLY lift using your legs not your back. When the bike is starting to come up pay attention grab a handle bar to keep it from tipping in the other direction.

The 1st month I started riding I got spooked one evening for no reason at all I just didn't feel right. So I brought my bike home and took the car. I felt a little silly about it and didn't understand the feeling. I am very fortunate to have a lot of experienced riders and trainers in my life and they all said I did the right thing. If for any reason you just don't feel comfortable park it. The following week the 2 wonderful men who taught me how to ride John & Charlie from Motorcycle Riding Training came to my home and took me for a challenging ride to get me back on the road and over my fear. Ride with Experienced Riders if possible.

As Always Ride Safe
