Kimmy ChapmanKimmy's Corner

Hello Everyone,
As we boarded the plane to fly out to Albuquerque, New Mexico we both were excited to meet Mark Silva. He is the new editor of New Mexico Biker Information Guide. We have been talking with Mark for sometime and we couldn't wait to put a face behind the voice.

Monday we spent all day going over the normal paperwork stuff. We met Mark's Cousin Doris Budris who is a Media Consultant for a Marketing Firm in Albuquerque. Tuesday is when we got to see Mark in Action. We journeyed to 225 miles to Las Cruces to visit places like Cruces Choppers, Barnett's Las Cruces Harley-Davidson, Rio Yamaha. We met with Mark's brother Tim and drove 70 MIles to Alamogordo stopping at the White Sands National Monument. We stopped and visited Alamogordo Cycle Center, Southwest Suzuki, and Liberty Custom Cycles. At the end of the day we ran into Mark's Mom and Dad and spent some time with them. What a great family Mark has.

Wednesday finds us heading north 183 miles to Farmington. Farmington is where Mark lives and we visited FRMF Choppers, Motorcycle Performance Headquarters, Four Corners Harley-Davidson. From there we drove another 60 Miles to visit Durango Harley-Davidson. Durango is the home of this year's Four Corners Biker Rally. The Rally is completely under new ownership and will be held August 30 - September 3rd. Mark is also going to open and run Colorado Biker Information Guide and have a Harley-Custom and a Sport and Metric Magazine in both states.

Thursday found us staying local as we had a plane to catch back to Phoenix in the afternoon. We stayed busy visiting such places as Thunderbird Harley-Davidson, Crossroads Cycles, and Showstoppers Unlimited. We did have enough time to take a little break and drove to Madrid, This is where they filmed part of Wild Hogs and we visited Maggie's Main Street Diner.

All in all we want to thank everyone we stopped in to see, we had such a great time.

May God Bless,
Kimmy
